  3. TextScan is a Windows utility that reports the properties of ASCII text
  4. files, including left- and right-hand margins, word, line and page counts,
  5. maximum page depth, occurrence of control characters, and other useful
  6. information.

  8. Changes for version 1.2:
  9.   *  Tab expansion corrected.
  10.   *  Instance count added to main window.
  11.   *  Maximum line length doubled to 800 characters.
  12.   *  Commas in display of large numbers.
  13.  
  14. Changes for version 1.1:
  15.   *  Report directed to a dialogue form rather than to a text window.
  16.   *  Multiple execution allowed.
  17.   *  `Ignore escape' menu item.
  18.   *  `Scan' menu item disabled if a file error occurs.
